Most people love to have fantasy desktop background. Active Desktop can enhance your fantasy background and make it more interactive. However, it does require some memory especially if you do not have enough memory. Additionally, you may save extra few memory by reducing 32 bits colour to 16 bits (24 bits - True Colour).
Priority
Setting priority of programs in NT/2000/XP will not increase your PC performance or save your memory. However, you may give CPU more time to run a program than others. By default, all programs are running at equal priority expect internal components. You may use Task Manager or command line "Start [AnyProgram.exe] /[Low/High/AboveNormal/BelowNormal/RealTime]" to set priority.
