What is 1st Level or 2nd Level Security ?

This is the protection to prevent someone from using your computer and x Chat. The identification of yourself to remote computer user is your computer name only. If you concern your privacy,  x Chat gives you 2 levels of password protection.

1st Level - Startup Password.

Without password, you cannot use any x Chat's features at Startup.

2nd Level - Away Password

Once x Chat is minimized and if you don't have password, you can use  network tools but you cannot make a connection, continue a chat session or receive incoming connection.

** 1st Level Password can be different from 2nd Level Password.
