Once a connection is established, almost everything you do in x Chat will appear on remote user's screen.

x Chat Main Screen

Refresh feature let you update remote window if there is data loss during slow connection or using slow computer.

Clear Screen let you clear your local and remote window. (It won't affect remote user's screen.)

Font and colour settings will appear on remote user's screen.

You could turn on Override feature to have same font and colour for both local and remote window.

You could also send audio signal to remote user to get his/her attention. It can be customized in Sound Setting.

Drag & drop

Any drag and drop text message in local window will send to remote user immediately same as regular typed text.

x Draw

x Draw is another interactive real time drawing board. Same as x Chat main screen, everything you add to or remove from the drawing board  will appear the same screen in remote user's drawing board.

File Transfer

You could drag and drop a file to remote window to activate the file sending feature, or you could click Tools - Send File. There is also a pause feature that the sender can pause any time and restore it as long as the connection is active. Click here for more detail.

Automatic Messages

When you leave your desktop, you could minimize chat main window. This will active the Away Protection and send a message to remote user that you are away. You could change the message in the settings.

Instant Messages

If you got a phone call or something you have to interrupt the chat session for a while, you could use Instant Message to notify remote user just a few clicks or press Ctrl F3.

Encryption

When you turn on Encryption option, any English text base communication will be encrypted and sent to remote user. This can enhance the security of your communication, however, it will also slow down the connection speed.
