MULTIPLE NETWORD CARDS PROBLEMS
 
x Chat uses the default Computer Name and default Network Card for the connection. 

However, it does not mean you cannot use multipule Netword Cards for x Chat.
Here are the limitations if you do not use the default Netword card for x Chat.
- You cannot change the computer name in x Chat
- People have difficult to locate you by DNS server
- It may conflict with a machine with eith the same computer name or same IP address


To understand the concept of Host Name Resolving:
1) x Chat checks the host name whether it matches your Default Computer Name. 
2) It searches for Hosts file for a list of IP addresses in your loca computer.
3) It uses the DNS server to query the host name.


You can do the following to resolve the problems:
1) Use Notepad to open HOSTS.SAM in Windows 95/98 or HOSTS in Windows NT
   Following the instruction in the file to type your prefered Network Card IP address,
   followed by DEFAULT Computer Name.
2) Ask you partner to do so.

After restart, you should see your Computer name with the same IP address in HOSTS file.
